Gaurakishora Das Babaji
Gaurakishora Dasa Babaji (1838–1915) was born in a simple village mercantile family in modern day Bangladesh. He accepted the life of a Babaji (renunciate) in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition under the tutelage of Jagannatha dasa Babaji. He stayed in the holy cities of Vrindavan and Navadwip, deeply absorbed in meditation. Gaurakishora was also an intimate student of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. In 1900, Gaurakisora dasa Babaji accepted Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura as his disciple.
